Is this supposed to happen, and, if it is, can I turn it off? I never want to remove files and stop seeding torrents, so the drone factory feature won’t be any use to me unless I can be sure that it’s going to act the same way as the completed download handler (in my case, leave the original file and create a hard link in the Sonarr directory with the new name etc. Obviously I don’t want this to happen again so my question is in the title. This means that all of my seeding torrents are broken and I’ll have to manually copy everything back in (and rename it all!). The matched files have been moved completely to the Sonarr directory (and, annoyingly, the Breaking Bad season didn’t seem to match, but that’s something else I’ll have to work out). I thought that my settings for copying, not moving, completed downloads and for using hard links would also be used by the drone factory, but it seems not. The download didn’t import to Sonarr after finishing, though, so I decided to enable the drone factory for the downloads folder. I thought that completed download handling would also extend to downloads added outside of Sonarr, and I’m still not sure on the answer to this. There is a constant 'Unable to write to drone factory folder' error. I wanted to grab Breaking Bad season 5 from BTN, though, and Sonarr won’t find that (I assume because on BTN it’s named as season 5.1 and season 5.2).Īfter some searching around, I decided to manually download the torrent. Please let the Direct Download joins your world.I set up completed download handling and that was working fine - it would rename files and use hard links, so I’d have a renamed file in Sonarr’s directory and the original file would remain seeding in my torrent client, while the use of hard links meant that I wasn’t using unnecessary space. We know there is manually import, but it’s… manual. My wish is then, can you just let the opportunity in your future version for us to ask Sonarr to scan a specific folder, at least on script only ? There still should be an option to ask Sonarr to do it, and not letting Sonarr doing it every x times. (doesn’t matter)Īs we still want to be a part of your sheep. If it is a TV show file, Sonarr grabs it, it then asks FileBot to sort Movies from the remaining files. In the instance of these errors in the logs, there is no link to the wiki. I make a python script, that check complete download from Download Station or JDownloader and ask Sonarr to scan a the Drone Factory Folder when a file is ready to be processed. Easiest fix is to change the path of the drone factory folder. We respect your system as Complete Download Handling and your wish to remove the drone factory but unfortunately, I tried, and we can’t use it (no communication, and above all, we can’t know at t instant if a file is TV, Movie or Music).Ĭurrently, we only set up the Drone Factory Folder but without automatic scan every X minutes (settings at 0) (This can breaks archives, copying files, etc, etc). Hey guys, I'm setting up an automated HTPC and I need an API command that will re-scan the drone factory folder (exactly the same as pressing 'Rescan Drone Factory Folder' in the 'Wanted' section of Sonarr). (We can still keep tracking without the Drone Factory, but Sonarr is sorting them so well…) API command for re-scanning drone factory folder. You are going to remove the Drone Factory folder, which is currently our only solution to keep a track on our TV Shows and let Sonarr sorting them. (By feeding him manually, yeah guys, it’s less expansive) The issue I have is I do not know where to set the Drone Factory Folder, so my. MB3 then adds the MetaData and transfers the MP4 file to proper location. Then I have a script that uses Handbrake to convert to MP4 file. Of course, Sonarr is the full automatic process chain, but, we want to use it as semi-automatic. I am using NzbDrone to keep my series up to date and have a unique setup as follows: NzbDrone downloads NZB. Consequences are that there is no communication between Sonarr and the download client, meaning no download tracking (well, on Sonarr) and no Complete Download Handling process. The fact is that, when we download files, we can’t set categories/tags on them. DownloadedEpisodeScan with Path is assumed to be the last stage in a pp-script of a specific download, and thus pointing to the file or folder of that specific download, instead of the parent. We are all on a DS214Play (but that doesn’t change anything) and we are using Download Station or JDownloader 2 as download clients. Drone Factory is a collection of multiple downloads, so Sonarr will interpret each file and directory in that folder as separate download. But, as you may know, there is a small part of the population that uses Direct Downloads.įor that, I only can talk about me and couple of friends. Sonarr is first designed for NZB and Torrent users.
